The McGraw Electric Company was a US manufacturer of electric appliances founded by Max McGraw in 1900. It grew through mergers and acquisitions to become a major enterprise. The best known product may have been the Toastmaster pop-up toaster. In 1957 McGraw Electric merged with Thomas A. Edison, Inc. to form McGraw-Edison.
Lovely vintage Eskimo metal fan. Medium in size with a metal cage shaped like a cobweb, very cool! The fan does not have a switch and can only be turned on or off by plugging it in. This fan works very well and runs fairly strong, a good amount of air is pushed. Warning! Do not put your fingers near this baby unless you are looking to shorten them, in which case, still don't. Uses a standard two prong North American plug. Manufactured by McGraw Electric Limited in Canada.
